EDIT: I just tried to send a message to my own T-Mobile phone and it didn't work. What the dilly yo? (It said that the user wasn't available, but my phone is on).
Maybe this is old news, but I just discovered you can send text to cell phones. Works with Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, Nextel and Cingular.
File menu: "New chat with person"
Enter "1+(phone number)" Hit return.
Enter a message and hit send!
maybe you could write out the intrsuctions more clearly. i tried entering my phone number several ways and none worked. and if the quotes are important, make a note of it or something.
