i just covered this amazing lookup of all apple osystems. And i thought you should know that, just in case you don't already

    Brings back major memories. I've used almost every system Apple has ever had. I have vague memories of System 1, how sweet it was.

    Anyone else find it funny that the UI of the calculator from system 1 survived without revision up until system 7 or 8. Haha, way to go Apple. It's gotta be better than the calculator from X though, that thing is slower than molasses in January.



    Edit:

    I fired up an old box with system 7.5.5 on it, that was the last system to use the same UI from the system 1 calculator. Just in case anyone cared. 8 was the beginning of the "Platinum" era.

    Wish it was a REAL Apple Insider though, I'm sure it would be a lot more interesting knowing things that never even made it to public knowledge
