MOSR is calling for new PowerBooks, more-or-less echoing an anonymous post to the PowerPage.
I couldn't find anything at TS or MacRumors, although I admittedly didn't look very hard.
MacNN has this:
[quote]Q-Run secures orders for 17- & 19-inch iMacs
China Times has reported that Q-Run Technology has secured orders from Apple for 17- and 19-inch LCD iMac (we reported previously that Quanta would produce 17- and 19-inch iMacs in the third quarter). "Q-Run is currently on a test run for iMac, but delivery is due to begin from October... Monthly shipment is expected to exceed 10,000 iMac desktops in the initial stage [and] the PCs will be equipped with LCD panels provided by Samsung." [report in Chinese]

Delivery due to begin from October could give Apple enough initial inventory for a mid-November launch, and assure that production would be more or less ramped up by then.

I think you meant to say "you". I have few posts because I normally don't engage in bickering like I am doing now
I say you give it up: say what you think is going to happen on nov. 12. or stop posting about it Anyone can pick a date and try to sound mysterious and in the know saying "something" will happen at such and such a time. What distinguishes someone in the know from a troll is that the troll doesn't have anything to back up their story with. So far you fit the bill.
As for the URL: If it's something important, it will be posted in the main page of apple.com, or on a related product page if its not so important. Nothing gets posted on some sub-page named after the date ...

how would you possibly know ?
Amorph is coming closer...but not quite there yet.
I don't think we're getting anywhere, so here's what happens on 5 Novemeber.
In the UK we have this quaint old custom of burning an effigy of Guy Fawkes - who headed a plot to blow up the houses of parliament (I prefer to think that we are in fact celebrating his valiant attempt). This is usually accompanied by firework displays.
This year I propose that we in fact burn Defiant on the bonfire (not an effigy, the real thing), then Apple can put up a page in his memory - exactly a week later.

In prep for the big Nov 12 release, AI releases beta version of Postbuilder v1. Code name defiant. Allows junior to shed diaper of niavete and move into real world as "member".
At least now I know not to believe anything you say. Thanks.
