hey ppl i recently got the Studio MX by Macromedia and am getting pretty good with instruction of placebo but he gets aggrevated sometimes when i keep asking dumb questions so here is a place where other people can answer those "stupid questions." I did a CSS style looking pretty good then i figured out how to insert a new layer so i did with intent to have it be a sort of "sidebar for links" in addition to the main links of the page at the top the more specific links would be to the side but i encountered the problem that my CSS wasn't showing up in Safari when i previewed and worked in IE but when i previewed anothe part of the site then clicked the link the text would overlap the toolbar and completely ignore the CSS i set? i even set it to be a good distance from my left side to allow for the "sidebar"

please let me know if you can help or just yell at me if i make no sense and i will go andre word everything to something more understandable....

inquiry because i don't know

oh, you said "and [space] reword it" I read "andre [space] word it". I was like, what the hell is an "andre word"?

hmmm well i rambeled for this one so i will re-word it??????

this may be elementary dreamweaver but i'm still new at it so don't bite too hard?

i made a .CSS and put it on a page of mine, then i discovered layers and put in a navigationalbar to the side of the page with a new layer. then i had to change my CSS so that its text would not overlap the new layer... while previewing in Safari the CSS both didn't show up at all and made the navigationalbar overlap with the CSS' text... is there a way of fixing this because i got the problem with IE too

After living in Massachusetts for the past five years, I can indeed confirm that they do not speak any tongue terribly familiar with English in this state. In fact, they reinvented the way the alphabet sounds as well. Suddenly, I really want to go back home to Georgia...

When Kurt Cobain blew out his brain,

All the little girls they cried like rain.

And as for me, I felt the pain,

But I got no t-shirts left to stain

For Kennedy, and Jesse James and

Joan of Arc and Kurt Cobain.

You can hear them crying down the lane

From Portland to Maryland, from Greece to Spain.

And as my life drips like coffee down the drain,

My eyes dry up like a rusty chain.

    So Kennedy, and Jesse James

Will have to cry for Kurt Cobain.

It's a hard life and no one's to blame

When God's not on the morning train.

If Cain don't kill Abel, Abel kills Cain

And tears now shed are shed in vain

    For Kennedy, and Jesse James

And Joan of Arc and Kurt Cobain.

There's three new roses growing in the lane.

It was a long hard winter but now there's rain.

If you want my tears, tell me your name.

Give me your hand, let me feel your pain.

But for Kennedy, and Jesse James

There's Joan of Arc and Kurt Cobain.

C'mon guys, I have the best spelling and grammar on this forum, and I'm from Massachusetts! It's just that PS5533 hasn't adjusted from "IM Speak" to "Forum Spiel".

PS5533: Why not get a book out on it? The Library has a couple. Not to mention that there are thousands of sites online. Check out The CSS Zen Garden for examples. For each example, you can download the CSS and HTML files that comprise it.
