sharing music in iTunes

I remember a while back with iTunes you could listen to someone elses music on iTunes even if you weren't on the same network. Is this still possible? My sister lives in a different state and she wants to be able to listen to my music on my computer. Any ideas?

Thanks.

depends on which version of iTunes you're each got installed.

    4.0 allows internet music sharing

anything past 4.0 only allows Rendezvous sharing

(haven't tested version 4.6, but the functionality was removed in 4.1 to appease record labels)

There may be alternative methods, like sharing the library or opening other ports, but if you're talking about the internal options within iTunes, I think backdating your copy might be a fix unless you've got stuff purchased from the Music store with a newer version that might get lost.

    YMMV

If you have two computers, how do you keep your iTunes libraries in sync? I have two laptops (an older Ti and a new 12" PB)... how do I keep my music on each up-to-date?
