Is the iMac G5 having heat/power supply problems?

I'm getting worried because I'm about to buy an iMac and I'm reading more and more about power supply and heat issues with the new iMac:

Clicking/static noise from iMac G5, other models:

So far, it seems like everyone who has a problem has a 20". Does anyone know anything else about this problem and if it's widespread?

The 17" iMac G5 I bought for my mother is running flawlessly.

It has been on since the day I took it out of the box with no noises. And I can just barely feel that the case is slightly above room temp.

I got a 17" 1.8ghz fully loaded and no problems yet. It is inclosed in a small area, has like 5 inchs above it and all around it to breath. And about 6 inches from a board behind it and the top is warm, bottom is cool where it sucks the air, all is running fine for me.
