Apparently it's not quite as simplistic as it seems in that you're not supposed to pick it up by the stand (remember -- that was how you picked up the flat panel iMac G4).

Before moving your computer, make sure all cables and cords are disconnected.
Well DUA....
Pick up the iMac G5 by grasping both sides of the computer. Carry it to wherever you wish.

Well, according to page seven of the license agreemet, you may only wish to carry it to pre-approved "Authorized Apple Locations".
