Can I Carbon Copy Cloner from an eMac to a G5?

I'm ordering my son a DP1.8 and getting rid of his eMac, can I just CCC his current drive contents over to a blank drive in the G5 via target-disc mode? i.e. is the G5 10.3.5 any different than other versions?

    when you get the G5 just follow the instructions when it boots up for the first time. (it'll ask you to put the eMac in target mode, and it'll transfer everything automatically)
