With the mini you no longer get a firewire cable, and the charger is now USB based - strange.
i know! whats up with that. everything is sold separately...im still gonna buy a blue one though, only because i need it to replace my old iPod and it does have an impressive battery.

Apple is gonna make a run for it this year to build and sustain as much iPod growth as possible, then hoping to stimulate more Switching to push more Mac sales... 2005 is looking solid, the team seems to know what they are doing, although 2nd half 2005 has to see new G5 powerbooks and G5 PowerMac updates... of course sometime in the next few months iBooks, iMac, and eMac line refreshes... all while ensuring Tiger rollout smooth, convincing and delivers miles ahead of longhorn
