the ishot is already a name being used in the digital camera space. NTT DoCoMo have an ishot add on with their Sha Mail service on their mobile phones

What it all means I have no idea?

I do know that ShaMail is the most successful MMS service in the world (mainly due to it's cost) and other operators are seeking to learn from this for the States. Could this be something to do with the 'iphone'?

I know that the iShot name was used in context as an incorrect answer to a question, but I still believe this is true. The part that makes this answer false is that it says iLife COMES WITH an iPod/iShot/Superdrive. Apple isn't the kind of company that publishes bullshit for the public to see. The iPod and Superdrive are both real products, which leads me to believe the iShot is also real.

The scenario, then, as I see it:

    1. There is an Apple employee (who wrote this quiz) somewhere laughing him/herself into a coma over this thread

    or

    2. There is an Apple employee (who wrote this quiz) somwhere guzzling Alka-Seltzer and popping Rolaids like they're going out of style as Steve sits home sharpening the NDA guillotine

Apple should focus on getting camera makers to put firewire ports on their cameras, otherwise USB2.0 will be the standard for digital cameras soon. Plus then they can have it hook up to an iPod for storage.

LOL remember the Apple servers back in the day, they failed now what do we see <a href="http://www.apple.com/xserve"; target="_blank">www.apple.com/xserve</a>

Wouldn?t it be cool if Apple made a Camera body that was compatible with existing SLR lenses (Nikon, Canon), and had FireWire capability to move picture files to the iPod once the internal memory cache was filled? I don?t think they would even need a very high-resolution image capturing chip. A three to four megapixel resolution should be enough. (And if it could take mpg4 movies and store them on the iPod, all the better). There is a huge customer base that would love to recycle their ?old? SLR lenses towards digital photography. The cheapest solution to do that today would set you back some $2,000. If Apple came out with such a solution for, let say $599, it would be a sure winner. No?
