Serial ATA Channel A versus B

I know each channel is a master and that there's only one device per channel, but my G5 has two bays. I thought there was a difference between them, but am I wrong?

If A is faster or something I'd swap the two, placing my bigger, faster, primary drive in that slot and the original OEM drive in slot B.

Anyone mind confirming that the bays are the same?

Each SATA channel is independant and has the same specs.

I run a bunch of Dual 1.8 an Dual 2.0 G5's with a 400GB SATA drive on each channel and mirror them.
