If you installed Tiger and you have a sluggish Exposé then try this... with Quartz Debug go to "Show Beam Sync Tools" and choose "Disable Beam Sync"... hit the F9 key

Any commandline method? I'm not curious enough to install the dev tools.

Ok, for me, while Disable Beam Sync helps smooth out Expose, when I drag windows around I end up getting tearing. With Expose the tearing isn't as noticeable however.
At this point I'm not sure which I'll stick with, but since the Beam Sync stuff is on Auto by default I'll probably just leave it that way.

I was in no way accusing you of copying. I read it then thought it would be a good hint.

You only need the Quartz Debug app, not the whole dev tools. Here is my copy you can download:

Not sure what the Beam Sync means for LCD users.
