iBook VGA out higher than 1024x768?

If I connect the iBook to a VGA screen, can I actually run a higher resolution than 1024x768 on it then? I have a 19" CRT and if it works iBook sounds interesting...

    Nope. It only mirros the image so 1024x768 is it.

    drats. that no good resolution if me is to make graphic design and 3d. waiting for new powermac line then. <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />
