iSync - "Enable" gray text

I connected my 2Gen iPod as I have done repeatedly but the "auto sync" I set up through iTunes tells me "synchranization disabled" which I DID NOT DO! I went to iSync Preferences to "Enable" but can't due to the text being "grayed out" and will not accept my "clicking" the box. It syncs with iTunes and updates songs but iCal and Address Book syncs do not function.

HELP!

    SOLUTION:

    Just do this: Quit all apps, go to:

    User/Library/Application Support/SyncServices

    Remove the SyncServices folder (drag to desktop)

    Launch iSync!

    Remember to tweak the iSync ?Preferences? settings to how you like them including ?Reset Sync History?.

    ALSO... tweak iTunes (?Contacts?/?Calendars?) if you sync an iPod as well.
