How many allowed to listen to music at once??

in iPod + iTunes + AppleTV edited January 2014
I know with I-tunes only 5 people are authorized to listen to purchased music at one time. I've been trying to find out if there is a limit if none of the songs were purchased thru ITMS. Does anyone know? Is the limit still 5 people?
