What if the first Intel Mac models weren't Minis or flash PowerBooks or PowerMacs at all, but Apple's other product line which has been sitting in limbo: the Cube!

Well, the G4 Cube was overdesigned, with its fancy latches and complex case, and clunky too with its "muffler". It was an eyecatching design, altho for users it wasn't so great with the spaghetti of cables streaming out the bottom. A new design would have to be much simpler.
It just struck me as surprising that Apple is building a "big glass cube" on the front of their new store. I realize that has nothing to do with the wares sold inside. I posted at a moment of hubris. Sorry. We all know that the mactels will be indistinguishable from E-machines minitowers; Apple is going for the mainstream, not the boutique.
And a pyramid is very wasteful of space, too. It's almost the worst possible shape, maximizing exterior surface while minimizing interior volume. A tetrahedron is worse.

I've seen stereo amps done that way...
