iPhoto 6 has gotta have some features from Aperture, but which ones?
1. Versions
2. Non-destructive editing
3. Loupe
4. Light-table
5. Editable web themes
6. Editable books
7. Hierarchical keywords
I think #1 is most likely, since Photoshop Elements has it. Right now you either get the most recent edit or the original; there's nothing in-between. #2 would be nice. #4 would be great, but unlikely (why buy Aperture?). Likewise, #5 and #6 are more Pro features (consumer features are more "do it for me" rather than "let me design it myself"). #7 is a real possibility.
iDVD: HD/BluRay maybe? That's a long shot, since players aren't out yet, much less recorders. I'm thinking some new themes and maybe the ability to add some text to a slideshow. Maybe the ability to burn DVDs from the mythological Apple Mac mini DVR thingy.
iTunes: Movie downloads. Subscription? Pay per view? The crazy 8 ball is unclear: please try again.
Garage Band: Don't use it much, so hard to predict.
New: mythological podcast and Dashboard creation tools.
I think many of you forgot a HUGE anouncement that went relatively unnoticed around a month ago.
Apple put out some resume ads calling for developers to build an iPod application for both windows and mac that could centralize all content (music, photo, video, contacts, etc.) into one device, thus abstracting it out of iTunes.
There are two primary reasons videos are a part of iTunes. The first is that you need a launching pad. iTunes 6 and iPod 5 are a testing ground for video, if it works - which I believe it does they will continue to expand.
The second is windows, the only iLife/iPod related application is iTunes. Therefore iPod syncronization could NOT be part of the Sync service on OS X.
This new application changes all of that. The potential could mean a new program "iMovie" with an "iMovie" video store.
However, let's not forget an additional piece of news. Apple registered a new trademark/patent, put out an ad, etc. indicating a new way to acquire "any type of content, including but not limited to music, photos and videos." So we could be looking at a centralized store that carries many contents.
Front row is tied to hardware far too much for Apple to release it in iLife. If you all want Front row so bad why don't you go out and buy an iMac, like Apple intended.
I do however think PhotoBooth will be released as a bonus app in the next iLife along with improved Podcast creation in GarageBand, a faster iPhoto, new templates in iDVD (we'll see blu-ray support next year,) better iPod video export options in iMovie, and of course the latest version of iTunes (likely a maintenance release, think iTunes 6.0.2.) These will all be universal binaries whether intel macs are released at the show or not.

How can you say Front Row is tied too much to hardware then say PhotoBooth should be included? PhotoBooth requires a £90 camera add-on and Front Row requires a £19 add-on (maybe a little bit more with reciever or something). I think there's more chance they will release Front Row than PhotoBooth in iLife as it's something more people will actually use.

A lot of people have video cameras which can be used for PhotoBooth.

AirPort? WiFi? That's entirely out of question. It draws way too much power and is far too complex to implement.
Bluetooth, yes, that's an option. I'm still at a loss as to why Apple didn't implement the remote with Bluetooth to begin with, seeing as the iMac has a receiver already anyway. Maybe they deemed even Bluetooth too complex/power-hungry?

Boy, either I need my eyesight checked, or my sleep pattern adjusted.
Sorry about that.

Me too. Even when I saw that it had IR, I assumed that was for the iPod dock and it would have Bluetooth for Macs...
