can anybody tell me how to burn DVD on mac os x(Tiger) PowerMac G4 machine?
Can i connect any third party DVD Writer to G4 PowerMac?
Do we require any third party application for burning DVD?
thanks and regards
This depends on what you are trying to burn. It also depends on whether or not your computer has an Apple-supplied or third-party optical drive. Data DVD's can be burned with either the Finder or Disk Utilities. If you want to burn video DVD's, then you can use iDVD. However, this will only work with Apple-supplied DVD burners. For third-party drives, you must use Toast, which will also handle the Apple-supplied drives.
When you ask for help in the future, please explain exactly what you are trying to do and list the equipment that you currently have to do it.

OS X (Tiger) also supports some non-apple DVD-burners.
