Hi, I have a G3 Pismo, 500 mhz, and I was wondering how I find out the max amout of ram I can put in it. On the apple site it says 512 ( http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=43126 ), but I have 640 in it right now, recognized and working. Can I put two 512's in it, or maybe just a 256 and a 512?

thanks!

Niels

According to MacTracker, it will take up to 1 GB. Nothing said about having to have the same size DIMMs, but they might have left that out.

That Pismo was $3499 when introduced.

Thanks, I'll probably throw another 512 in it then.

It was 3500 and it's bullit proof. I bought it used a year and a half ago, and have had no complaints.

And another thing, since I don't know, what is the "same size DIMMs?" What am I looking for/ where do I look to find exactly what kind of memory I need?

    Thanks again
