as far as I can tell, the only way to do it is to convert wma files to mp3 via easyWMA, but I don't feel like paying $10 for software that i am only going to use once. So i was wondering if i could just import it directly, or if there is a free ware converter. thanks.

I thought iTunes for Windows would import WMA files and convert them to AAC or whatnot. DRMed WMA is another story though.

Why don't you just convert them using iTunes on your PC and then copy them to your spankin' new MacBook.

    I'm jealous.

theres a program called ffmpegx that will convert pretty much any audio/video file to whatever format you want. Thats what I used to convert my WMAs to MP3's to use in iTunes.
