Videocard Analysis (cool graphic check it out)
Just trying out the Keynote 3 chart features... (blatant cross-post from MacBook thread). Looks like the iBook and Mac Mini and probably what is in the MacBook-(non-pro) will only be able to handle simpler games at minimal settings. But as people have reported Macbook Pro can play Half Life 2, etc.

Nice graph, but.........where did you get the estimates from?

They are only *estimates* because you know, benchmarking is not an exact science and there's a lot of variance in the reporting.
Very nice sunilraman. How did you make the chart? To be more specific, does Keynote 3 create the graphs form a data base or did you input the data manually?
Hi, thanks... Keynote 3 has a simple table-like "data editor" thing where you input the data manually. Then this adjusts the chart accordingly, then with the "metallic background" theme and then the 3D option for the chart, you can fiddle around with some settings to get something pretty.
That's the good bits of Keynote 3 that make things look Mac-olicious :: metallic theme, 3D chart with some nice lighting effects, and subtle drop-shadows throughout. Powerpoint is HIDEOUS in comparison to what you can do with Keynote 3
No, it looks like they underclock the Mobility version for the MBP and the desktop version for the iMac. [Gotta keep those notebooks and desktops cool and quiet, apparently!]
Yes, it's Mobility x1600 in the MacbookPro, underclocked,
Full x1600 in the iMac, underclocked.
My personal obsession is that besides the underclocking the BootCamp 3d graphics driver is involved somehow as well but a lot of y'all don't agree with the driver playing a role
