When did the 800 mHz Powerbooks become available? I was thinking just a few months ago, does anyone have an appox. date?

Thanks,

Stein

The 667/800 mhz powerbooks (also know as the DVI powerbooks because of the new DVI port that was added) were released on April 29, 2002, about 2 1/2 months ago.

    Why do you ask? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

    Spiffster,

Just wondering...I recently purchased a Powerbook 800 DVI (made the switch!)

Yeah, it was like a week before WWDC.

Some people, (Bohdi, for example), were quite convinced that there will be another PowerBook update soon using similar technology to what will be in the new PowerMac.

If that is true, I get the impression that it will be a month or two later than the PM announcment.
