Analog Audio i/o is BACK
Notice that Apple added an ANALOG headphone jack on the front and VERY QUIET (greater than 100 db) ANALOG Audio i/o and Apple Pro Speaker 90 db analog OUT to the rear. THAT is a VAST improvement over the NO analog AUDIO PORT QuickSilvers.
How'd day do dat?!
What a great improvement for AUDIO folks!
I'm getting more excited after reading the 29 page Technical Overview PDF found on Apple's PowerMac page.

Guess I gotta get an iMic...
Seriously what about mLan though? Is that stalled? It would be cool to have power, MIDI, sound, data, networking, all available with FireWire (preferably Gigawire )

No. The much awaited Presonus FIREstationis due out anyday. Interesting enough mLAN currently only support 200MBps of the possible 400Mbps. Thats not a suprise because midi doesn't take up much data and Audio is generally small as well compared to Video.
