No New iPods till September 16, 2006

You don't need an market analysts to tell you this.



Apples "Perfect Companion" program, which gives up to a $179 rebate towards the iPod of your choice when a educational customer purchases a Mac from Apple, runs from June 5 through September 16.



Apple would not make a major product release with this deal still going. It has nothing to do with delays. It has everything to do with timing.



Again, think about why september is signifficant. The majority of products for the holiday shopping season are released in september or early november.

    add 15 days to your september date.. to get over the 14 day return if your not happy for any reason thing and you could get a date in november.... wow can i split the $1000 we just earned ??

    last year there were new ipods released before the end of this offer. it was when the nano was first announced. i would guess that, like last year, and new ipod will not be included in the promotion at all.
