Remote Desktop for Windows - serious question

Posted:
in macOS edited January 2014
I have left both of my Macs at home for about a year, and have been running a Dell lattitude. We have a remote office and most of our critical apps are run via Remote Desktop on my user of the server at the coroporate office.

My stupid question is, and no I have not tried, is there a way for me to run Windows remote desktop on my Mac (PowerBook G4) so I can do what I need to do on the server apps, and then I can operate in OS X for the remainder of the time with Office apps and such?

Assuming you mean Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection / Terminal Services / Citrix, you can simply download and use Microsoft's Mac client.

Assuming you mean Apple's Remote Desktop, that's another matter.

(I'm somewhat confused by your post.)

I don't know why I have not thought of that, but I will give it a try Monday. Thanks.

That solves one issue. What about the issue of web sites not working with Mac because they are built on .Net?
