Probs with connecting automatically when logging in

I've had some problems with connecting to the internet automatically when i log on since the new 10.4.8 update - can someone please tell me where to set up the internet so it connects automatically? I've been looking all over but maybe I didn't look enough

    I got a MacBook Pro connected to a router (wireless). There's also 4 other windows computers connected to it.
