iPod Battery replacement

Even though I'm planning on buying both a new 80GB iPod and a Shuffle, I decided to replace my 3Gen 40GB iPod's ailing battery (2 hours max). I went into a local shop, bought the battery for US$20, used the supplied tools to change it when I got home, and voilá.

Ten hours. Nice.

Very much worth it.

Yeah it's pretty easy too. I recently replaced the battery in my G2 iPod with a high capacity version that cost me about $26. It took about a half hour.

I replaced the battery in my 3G 15 gigger a couple years back... worked well after that, until the headphone jack broke. Anyone know a good way to fix that?
