I had tried for three days everything I could find to fix this problem. After 2 hours of continuous hard restarts at the battery icon and several other "solutions" I became annoyed and gave up. The next day I stumbled upon this forum and the first time I tried jasonharden's post I got control of my ipad again. Thank you so much for your post!
