I bought the snap grip from Apple a few day ago. I remains a good idea, but I have the following comments:
* Despote the picture on Apple's website the snap grip model SG002 does not charge my iPhone 16 Pro. Shift Cam confirmed this.
* The USB-C connector can only be used for charging the grip, not for delivering power to the iPhone per cable
* The grip itself is a little small for my average size hand (glove size 10 in Europe)
* For video shooting you have to press the shutter button continuously, which can become awkward.
* Also I am missing a zoom button!
* Also for video, my thumb at the back is kind of obstructing the microphone holes of the iPhone, but I have not taken measurements.
* I have not yet used the little tripod as a grip, but it looks more useful for video.
