  • A new iPod Touch is coming soon, if the rumor mills are correct

I have an 33 year old Autistic son who has been using an iPod Touch for years. He is non-verbal and uses the iPod Touch for communication via apps and pictures. My son also uses the iPod Touch for entertainment. He plays simple games, interacts with various animated story books, and watches various videos that I purchased or transfered to the iPod Touch. He also has an iPad but the Touch is much more portable. I place the iPod in a waterproof case with an external battery. He then uses a lanyard to wear it around his neck. My wife and I have already discussed it and we would love to get our son an updated iPod Touch.

  • New 9.7" iPad expected to support Apple Pencil, be 70 percent of 2018 sales

My wife loves her iPad Mini. It is easy for her to slip into her purse and take it wherever she goes. My Autistic son also likes his iPad Mini. He can easily carry it around the house and out in the community. I hope they upgrade the mini and keep it in the product line.

  • The iPod touch is a worthy end to the iconic music line

My 33 year-old son is Autistic and is non-verbal. He uses his iPod Touch for communication. I know there are many other individuals with disabilities who use iPod Touches. It would be a shame if Apple were to discontinue it or to stop doing basic upgrades. My son also uses his iPod Touch for entertainment. He likes the old style Disney animation and I have downloaded a number of animated movies for him. In addition, he likes some of the basic games an animated read-along books. My son also has an iPad but the iPod Touch is of course much more portable. I have put the iPod Touch in a waterproof case with a lanyard and my son can simply put the lanyard around his neck when he leaves the house.

Is there a ramp to the front door? If not, there should be.
