I am struggling to find affordable 10G ethernet switches. Those that I have found basically have two 10Gb ports (1 up and 1down), and the rest are 1Gb ports. If one were to purchase this device, what would you connect it to, to get speeds over 10G ethernet? Are there 25Gb switches around? If we are talking about short distance connections, then (a) we don't need a switch, and (b) we don't need ethernet, and can just use a 40Gb Thunderbolt connection, so presumably we are talking about linking to computers in a different room or building.

My dear chap, only noobs leave their Macs to work like iPads. All the uber Mac users make their Macs work like Macs (window-centric vs document centric view -- there is an generally option under System preferences -> Mouse). On a Mac, as you scroll down, you are conceptually meant to be pulling the VIEWING WINDOW down (so you view the bottom of the document). On an iPad, as you grab down,you are pulling the DOCUMENT down (so view the top of the document).

Seriously, how long can it take to release a monitor update? The existing model sits too high ... and I have been waiting a long time for one that is not ergonomically compromised.  The current height variable Studio Display only goes UP:  hopefully, Apple will figure out how to make it go down in height as well.

Ugly POS ===  spot on.   Another clueless decision from Apple HQ.  It would be like Porsche deciding to do interior fit outs using Nissan parts. Lol.
 
As a long-term Apple shareholder, I really do think it is time the Apple board found someone else to take the helm. You can only live in the slip-stream of Steve's ideas for so long, and this is just another indicator that Tim has no clue ... and has every intention of leaving the Pro market, failing to understand the Apple ecosystem, and the congruence of the product map.

This is the ugliest Apple Store I've seen: it is flat, has no focal points, and is visually uninteresting. Looks like someone set up some trestle tables in their garage for some kids. This is compounded by leaving the side-walls empty:  they are the natural space to have a counter for desktops, iMacs etc  it looks uninviting to me.

Seriously - who would put a radiating device INTO their head?? Does this model cause less brain damage than other Bluetooth headphones?

Watch the iPhone 7 fail dismally - followed by an iPhone 7S or 8 that returns the 3.5mm headphone jack.
