iPhone 8 wireless charging speed will improve with future firmware update from Apple
Personally I'm not really all that enthused about wireless charging at home. I figure as long as I can raise a fork to my mouth I can handle plugging in my devices, it's really not much of an inconvenience at all. However, I am excited about the idea of wireless charging built into tables at restaurants, coffee houses, libraries, etc. That would be very convenient to me. -
Apple issues second developer beta of iOS 10.1 with support for iPhone 7 Plus Portrait photos
I hope they fix the "Music" app. The new one included in iOS 10 stinks (to put it mildly). Who is in charge of the Music/iTunes interface? They should be fired. It just keeps getting worse and worse. Steve Jobs must be rolling over in his grave.
They did away with the history list, and now have an unintuitive up next list. I (and everyone else I talk to) cannot figure out how to add something to the up next list. Even a tech at the Apple store said he doesn't know how. I did figure out how to add whole albums, but not individual songs.
Another problem with the play next list is you cannot delete songs from the list. You can go through the process of deleting the songs, and it will appear as if you've deleted the songs, but when it come time to play your music and advance through the list, you'll be annoyed to find out that all the songs you deleted are still in the list.
These are just a few of the issues, I could go on... -

Apple issues second developer beta of iOS 10.1 with support for iPhone 7 Plus Portrait photos
slurpy said:It had a "clean" design cause it had zero features and was literally a list of your music. The new Music app is more than fine, and a big improvement over the one in iOS9. What a bunch of whiners. -
No ducking way: Apple may soon let your friends know when autocorrect makes a mistake
What a half-way attempt to solve a very persistent problem. Why not just allow time based editing of a sent message, like Skype does. Give the sender some small amount of time (15 seconds?) to edit/correct the text. How many times have any of us pressed send and then instantly seen a typo? Happens quite often. Just let us edit/correct it. -
Supply chain sources again point to Apple's 'iPhone 7 Plus' having 3GB of RAM
The photo shows no jack for an audio mini-plug, which I know is not new news. But I have to say I'm really annoyed about the lack of a standard mini-plug for audio. What exactly is Apple accomplishing here? Saving $0.02 on parts and manufacturing? Diminishing the thickness of the iPhone by 0.5mm? Extending the battery life by 10 mins? Do they think it will be so cool and modern and advanced? Or are they just trying to line the pockets of themselves and the iPhone ecosystem by forcing people to yet again buy more cable adapters.
I feel like Apple is making this change just for the sake of making changes. So that the "new" iPhone can add one more feature to the reportedly short list of new features (although I would debate the change being called a "feature").
I'm really glad Apple doesn't run our nation's electrical grid. Otherwise we be buying all new appliances ever few years because Apple would keep changing the size of our electrical outlets.
By the way, I love Apple, I always have. I just question how this is a benefit to their customers.
