  • Trump gives Apple a giant break with wide-ranging tariff exemptions

How much did he impose on Ukraine?
    10%

AFAIK Russia and North Korea were the only two countries excluded from the tariffs.

Edit: Forgot to mention Canada and Mexico are NOT on the so-called “reciprocal tariffs” list.

  • Apple rails against FBI demands for 'GovtOS' in motion to vacate decryption request

I know nothing about encryption, but I can can think in general terms. Is it not possible for the FBI to turn the phone over to Apple and let them privately and secretly break the encryption on the phone (holding the pass code with Apple, not the FBI)? Couldn't Apple turn over the information from the cracked phone, but not the key? I suppose there must be numerous reasons to prevent this cooperation, but it seems like Apple could assist the FBI in fighting crime, while keeping their key proprietary.

  • EU Core Technology Fee for small & non-profit developers pared way back

The difference is you can go and buy a game from another store (Game Stop, etc.) and Microsoft doesn't get the 30% commission.
Of course they do, Microsoft gets a cut of every copy of a game sold anywhere whether it's a physical or digital copy.

    Imagine if Microsoft...

You don't have to image it, Microsoft currently does that with the Xbox. Why is Apple's iPhone any different than Xbox, Playstation, etc?

I'm surprised that you seem to support this.
As long as there’s healthy competition in a market I support the right of any company to monetise their platform and IP. Nobody is forcing anyone to buy an iPhone and people do fully knowing what they are getting into. That consumers may have to pay more for an App for the iPhone than for other smartphone because of the fees Apple charges is no different than a consumer having to pay more for the same product at a high end store than at a budget store. If people don’t find value in the Apple platform they will take their business somewhere else.

I, for one, like that Apple tightly controls their platform and am happy to pay a little bit more for that. Are they perfect and agree with everything they do? No, obviously not but overall I’m a happy costumer and the fact that politicians are hell-bent in taking away my choice of a tight and highly integrated platform pisses me off.

  • Apple's most profitable iPhone upgrade is quietly losing steam

Considering the ridiculous amounts they charge for storage upgrades it is not surprising people are reluctant to upgrade. I'm pretty sure if Apple halved what they currently charge people would start upgrading their storage again. Likewise on the Mac.

  • Apple CEO Tim Cook, other tech leaders call on North Carolina to repeal anti-LGBT law

Reading comprehension problems again? As I said it all the depends on each individual case but I'd say in most cases of circumcision. removing diseased organs or limbs, donating organs, SRS to correct gender dysphoria, other instances like the one portrayed in the movie "127 hours", etc. self-mutilation is not a sign of mental illness.

...the case of David Reimer which clearly shows the problems of having a male brain in a woman’s body as supporting his case...
What part of “DID NOT IDENTIFY AS A WOMAN, DID NOT WANT TO BE A WOMAN, EVENTUALLY COMMITTED SUICIDE BECAUSE OF THE TORTURE AND MUTILATION THROUGH WHICH HE HAD BEEN PUT” was unclear about that story? What part of “it’s the poster story that has been used to show that trannies are ‘fine’ when the reality was always the exact opposite” was unclear?

Time to come clean. Are you just trolling or are you really this stupid? Because no one can be this stupid if they’re actually reading the posts before replying to them. Why do you support mental illness? Why do you refuse to actually refute anything I’ve said? What is wrong with you?
David wasn't a transgender, trying to make him one was what caused his problems.
A transgender person is not a cisgender person, trying to make them one is what causes their problems.

Those are very simple concepts to grasp, the fact you are unable to do it shows who is the stupid.

There's no point  in arguing with someone like you who clearly doesn't understand what they are talking about. And no matter how loud you shout, your opinions remain as ignorant as they come.
