Back with my first iPhone (5S), I used one of the physical buttons on the side to activate the image-capture; as one would do with a full stand-alone camera.
Both me and my family found the some shots had a slight motion, as the force to press the button moved the phone a bit.
The shutter button on any stand-alone camera is very loose and perfectly sensitive so that device-movement when held in your hands is not a factor.
Due to the phone moving slightly when I used the side button on an iPhone (as that button on the 5S required some force), I switched to the on-screen red button.
So, I wonder how this new face-touch button will play out.
Might be just fine.
The original iteration of this idea didn't work out for some of us.

For powering down, I'm pretty sure most users will just yank the power cord.
For starting up, putting the power-on button on the bottom is better protection than a password. -

Before this administration, I would never have seriously suggested the following, but there are no good government rules anymore, or anyone to enforce them. He could be waiting for the price to drop low enough, and then have Musk and/or the Trump kids buy it.Even if the companies have a defense, they would still have to deal with costly litigation if prosecuted by the next administration. Additionally, considering Trump’s bullying behavior, it wouldn’t be surprising if he later changes his mind and attacks the companies if they do something that displeases him.
