    Preplexing.. its not about dollers and cents on every little item.. Its about a complete product line and synergic ecosys. Lose that and you lose the luxury of the premium you charge . ps.._ INCLUDING NEGLECTING TRUE PROS… A kids in hardcore gaming. The extremes define your credibility and prowess Apple ! Without it you are just another gadget maker.

    I don't know that I'd call this "griping" but in any case, what's wrong with pointing out the blatantly obvious: that this isn't good news.

    If your sitting in a theater waiting for a show to start and they come out and announce that the delay is caused by technical difficulties, I doubt too many people are going to say "thank god they didn't start the show with bad audio; I'm just glad they are taking the time to get it right."  A more natural reaction is "that sucks, I wanted the show to start on time; I hope it doesn't take too long to fix."

    Yeah, yeah, it's not a perfect metaphor because we haven't bought tickets to anything, but still it's perfectly reasonable to "gripe" when something you're looking forward to isn't delivered when you were told and the latest rumor is "they're still working out the kinks."

    This is good news.

    This is just shows that Apple cares about quality.

    Comparing a mundane act of showing a movie compared to release a brand new technology is ridiculous.

    A better comparison is a stuntman who is attempting to jump over a bridge. But at the last moment they realize the motorcycle engine is not running just right. Do you want him to try it anyway? Would you be bitter disappointed? 
    To me the state of Apple R&D is what's worrisome.
    If Apple announces a product  in September due to be released in october... and come  Dec the products most fundamental functionality  is not yet solved  ....it makes me wonder  what the  state of R&D at Apple is.  I thought they would be years ahead in whats cooking in their labs.... but apparently not so... they are still working out issues on a past product. ..... what does that say about the state of future products.
    why announce something when  the most basic of its functionality is not resolved. 
    If this airpod thing can happen ..... how far ahead is Apple's vision and product planning and  pipeline?

    Seems the only vision that is running Apple lately is gluttony for money..

    It seens they have forgotten the key  philosophy Steve layed down... the Philosophy that elevated Apple to unprecedented heights:

    Product  and customer experience FIRST .  
    Money will follow. .....

    That moto took them to the top...

    But i guess like the Router... and and borowing what  BMWtwisty said at another forum  thread... .."if it dont need to be Fixed , Break it. ...."

    and F- the loyal concened customer ! right?

    Apple  dont put a gun on my head  to force me to buy icloud subscription...
    Make it good enough so ill do it voluntarily ..  in the meanwhile listen to your customers needs  and frustrations.  Stop leaving gaping holes in your product line  just to force customers in a convoluted dogmatic environment  you are creating. 
    you present style is leaving a massive distaste in  your loyal customers/ unpaid PR army's  mouth...

    Ridiculous short sighted paranoia .. Unlocking a phone by a court order is not the same as a back door…. Or conpromising an activly encrypted phone when in use. Plus Government can search my home with the proper court order. The most privet place to me . Government can tap my land line with court order. And has for decades with proper court order. Government can confiscate my computets with proper court order and search the HD… ( iphone is a pocket computer ) This is not an either or case …… Its way more complex and consequential to just leave it in hands of dogmatic idealism . Creat the proper provisions and everyone wins. Times changes… so should we… … Thats fundimental to survival. In the meanwhile apple is loving the Publicity .. ;)……. It may even all be by design …..(. After all its months we have been screaming for apple PR to wake up)..lol
