Why Apple is unlikely to ditch Touch ID for facial recognition with 'iPhone 8'
Facial authentication as the sole means of gaining access to the device is a recipe for disaster! It would allow muggers and law enforcement unfettered access to our most private information. As a secondary input in two-factor authentication, it might make some sense. Otherwise, NO!
