Cash-strapped Pegasus spyware developers wanted to sell to 'red-flag' countries
DAalseth said:As Sal Tassio said in The Godfather, “It’s only business.”.
When NCO started having trouble I predicted they would just go underground and start selling to anyone. Looks like that’s exactly what they want to do.
Ladies and gentlemen. I present to you Capitalism in its purest form.First, it's Tessio, not Tassio. Sal Tessio.
Second, it was said by the Michael Corleone to Sonny Corleone, not by Sal Tessio. Tessio is in the room, but he did not say that. It was said slightly differently three times in that scene. Once by Tom Hagen, once by Sonny Corleone and then the more famous one, that is quoted, by Michael Corleone to Sonny when he questioned Michael about shooting the crooked cop McCluskey.
Messing up Godfather quotes and misattributing them is a mortal sin. Doing twice via a copy/paste between websites is even more serious. The Godfather would be displeased.

Apple One bundle includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and more
they should have called it Apple Junk.
You remind me of the guy who voluntarily goes to the party and then sits in the corner pouting and muttering that everyone else is a jerk, while secretly praying someone walks up to them and asks what's wrong so they can whine about how unfair life is to them. -

Apple execs explain why you should use Apple Maps over competitors
For me, only Waze is worth using if I am driving. Google maps and Apple Maps lack user input and immediate updates for all kinds of things, but in particular, accidents, debris, emergency service vehicles and yes, the location of Police. Without these things those two are essentially useless for me when driving. Walking, biking and public transport is a different story. -

How iPads, iPhones, Macs are used in the special education classroom
Clearly, devices make it better for teachers and students and provide more options and customization. But frankly, I am not buying the cost savings angle and the article doesn't offer any proof. It also says "after the initial investment ..." Well the initial investment is huge and disregarding it pokes huge holes in the claim of cost savings whether it is taxpayers or parents footing the bill or a combo of that and what about families who can't afford $300-$1000? Schools should put the squeeze or corporations and foundations to pay the devices. After all, the big are taxpayer subsidized anyway. -

Apple Towson union accuses Apple of withholding new benefits
Madbum said:So these morons want to have the u ion but also have all the benefits from non union employees. Cook needs to start leaning from Musk. These entitled losers needs to be removed, I say this as a 25 year shareholderI think Cook did mention Apple will slow hiring and reduce head count soon.
I would look at Towson store and start with the worse performing employees
You think are some kind of anti-union tough guy? Laughable at best, but shameful in the least.
BTW, I've held Apple stock longer than you and am not much of a union supporter. None of that changes my summation of your comment. -
Deadly Apple Store car crash was an accident, driver claims
lkrupp said:If the vehicle is a recent model it will have the equivalent of a black box and we’ll see if his story holds up. And of course Apple will be sued for failing to protect its customers and employees. To crash through the glass entry and stop only when it hit the rear wall, as the article points out, that car must have been moving really quick. The investigators will be crawling up his rear to see if he has any history with Apple, good or bad.
Horrible accident is what this is. It is not some conspiracy driven plot.
I wonder of the driver, a 52 year old guy, is an iPhone user or android!
