There already is a story out where Apple or someone very close to them laughs at the notion in response to inquiries about the tabloid article.

We will see. It will not be easy for Apple to meet or exceed the Sony XM4s in features and audio quality while matching the price which will fall by XMAS shopping season.

AirPods strongest plus is convenience and integration into the Apple ecosystem. It is not audio quality.

Earpods are the worst. I know very few people who can or will use them. They simply won't stay in the ear of most people. I have been at a loss of an explanation for many years as to why Apple only has pods when you purchase a new device. I just can't believe buds would cost more. I'm an Apple guy, but this kind of petty crap that adds up and is the stuff that in moment of dismay makes me think their relationship with me just may not be permanent.

After looking at that picture I would say Ive needs a B-Cup bra. In all seriousness (did I say that?), he's become a pretty diva, more focused on image and being seen at big fashion and design events and getting written up in gossip columns. My first Apple product was a Iici computer and I've been with them ever since. I am disappointed and beginning to get disenchanted. Not going over to the dark side, but my unshakable faith is getting wobbly.

Just another way to steal and use your personal data against you. It's no different than a monitoring device designed to have the insurance companies make more money off of you. Since they couldn't knowingly get you to agree to have sensors implanted and cameras up your butt, this was the best alternative. Go ahead and sell your soul to Aetna for $130 subsidy.

This is the software that advertises with intrusive pop ups on many sites. I've had to force quit Safari before, to get rid of those fucking popups.

You left out a word- software UPDATE.  I agree with you- Apple should at least make it known to users that Mackeeper is basically malware. My poor mother in-law gets tricked into installing it about once a year.

Doe your mother-in-law have alzheimer's? Is her IQ less than 100? My mother is 90 and she knows better then to fall for any of these scams. You aren't doing your job as a good son-in-law if she is falling prey too this stuff.

What possibly makes you think it would be different if Apple were a privately held company? Where do you expect the $600 billion or more is going to come from to take them private? And you somehow think the whoever comes up with that will settle for smaller returns than Apple currently produces? Those "greedy leeches" you so easily criticize are the ones who own this company. People like you do not. If you don;tlie the direction your beloved Apple is taking then acquire a stake and speak out and marshal other owners to your side. You also make the classic mistake of focusing on the short term and analysts limited time span projections. Those pronouncements have some relevancy to the short term investor and traders. They have little relevancy to investors and those betting on the longer term future except where they may indicate longer term trends. I'll sum it up for you - You don't really understand investment versus short term and you should probably stick to tech and leave finance and securities alone. Additionally, you are not an owner of Apple and have no say. You do have an opinion and are entitled to that, but as the saying goes about assholes, everyone has one and they all stink.
