  • Huawei hires 'I'm a Mac' pitchman to take on Apple in US ad blitz

Justin must be happy some random Chinese company is throwing money at him. Their execs simply do not have any clue about western culture, so the ad agency can slap any shit together and get away with it. I bet cheers were sky high in Beijing when they learned they had signed the former Apple prodigy. A clever move by WPP Blast Radius. They know how much Huawei likes to copy stuff.

  • Samsung goes after Apple and iPhone X again with two more 'Ingenious' ads

A smartphone has hundreds of features and just highlighting a very few is something any vendor can do. An experienced salesman could probably showcase a two year old Windows-phone and say "Hey, look what this can do that your iPhone can't." So by comparing very specific Samsung features to an iPhone's leaves people to wonder why. Maybe it's because Samsung Galaxy is actually inferior overall? So these ads may simply backfire.

  • Schiller refutes book's account that he demanded physical keyboard in early iPhone

Don't believe anyone at Apple was stuck with the idea of a physical keyboard for the iPhone. As I recall an iPad like device was developed first with touch implementation. Then they decided those features would be ideal for a phone, a move that would make great market sense. So at the time the first iPhone was in development, a touch keyboard was a prerequisite.
