  • All Mac & iOS CPUs affected by 'Meltdown' and 'Spectre' chip flaws, some fixes already in ...

So Intel was telling the truth that it wasn't just Intel but also several non-Intel CPU's being affected.
They were telling half a truth, they're affected by the worst variant and they are affected in a worse way. So, more like bullshit deflection than truth.
The funny thing is that all of the tech articles that I'm reading state just the opposite of what you said.

Meltdown, which affects all Intel chips, has already been patched. While being the most exploitable bug, it seems it was the easiest to handle. Updates are going out already.

Spectre, by all accounts, will be the most difficult to deal with. It will require a fundamental redesign of processors. A fix for Spectre may not be available until a new generation of chips are on the market. It's not going away tomorrow or the next day, or next year. This can take many years because it's hardware. I would say that this is being "affected in the worse way."

    Intel was being truthful.

We need a war, the sooner, the better, let's get it on.

What kind of war did you have in mind?

    Against whom?

Do you have any children in the military?

Let me get off my iPad and blow you the fuck out.

Of course, numbers by themselves don't tell the whole story.

Edit: Guess I should add this -

Edit, edit: The funny thing is that most of your chart can be directly tied to ... (wait for it) ...George Bush's administration.

  • $29 battery exchanges for iPhone 6 and newer now available at most Apple retail locations

the friggen battery in our cars have to be replaced ffs, can you imagine bitching at your car dealer because your car did not start and you want a free battery.

and, unless my memory is off, most android phones do not see a software upgrade (and they too shut off if the battery is drained by a process requiring more power).

If my car manufacture introduced an upgrade to my car's SW to cover a dying battery that wouldn't let my car go over 45 mph and didn't tell me what the upgrade did - you're darn right I'd be complaining. And people that compare OS updates don't understand the difference in the way the two systems do updates.

Do you really believe that the military is not doing all they can to defeat ISIS?

Should the military commit war crimes and purposely kill innocent civilians?

Do you have children in the military? (you never answered)
    1. Absolutely. An advanced army like ours can totally wipe out ISIS if that was the objective. It's not the military's fault of course, our military people are great, but Obama is deliberately not wanting to get rid of ISIS. It's obviously not a big deal to him. And our military is forced to fight with their hands tied behind their backs, because of disgraceful and immoral PC rules that have been imposed on them.

    2. It would depend by what you mean when you write "innocent civilians". I would guess that my definition is not the same that many on the left hold. For example, a terrorist's family does not qualify as innocent civilians, and they should not be afforded any such protections.

    3. No.
We kind of had an idea of what kind of person you were, but know we know what kind of person you are. I feel sorry for you and those around you.

Looked, don’t know what permanent warning you,re talking about because I don’t have one. Please post what it says on your phone.
For the millionth time since this has come to light, if you have no such message under Settings » Battery it means you have no worn battery that would cause Apple to have taken reasonable action to keep your device working longer than otherwise would be the case had they done nothing.

If you haven't yet seen this link it means you're not paying attention.

Apparently, that’s not always the case.

If Apple was so principled, they wouldn't sell devices in countries where being gay is a crime or where women are punished for being raped.
Apple is being consistent - they will sell to the people but don't support the governments that you cite. Just like they'll sell to the Republican Convention but don't support the nominee.
