Examined: Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.1 gen 2 on the new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar
I don't see what the problem is myself. I ordered a USB-C to USB-A adapter with my MacBook Pro but I've just been looking at replacement cables for the 3 things that I actually connect to my Mac. I can easily just buy a printer cable, external hard drive cable and perhaps a Lightning cable that all have USB-C connectivity, therefore eliminating the need to use adapters. I'll still keep the adapter that I've purchased as a just in case backup, but replacing your existing cables is far easier than shelling out on a bunch of adapters and will look much neater (if you're a bit OCD about such things like me!). -

LG UltraFine 5K Display now for sale through Apple, first orders ship in January [u]
Did you watch Apples last product presentation...? This is supposed to be a joint venture between Apple and LG replacing Cinema Display. Hence : Big mistake by Apple to approach monitors in such a secondary way.. reducing Apple logo and Design theme visibility at the high end. -
Alleged 'iPhone 7' chassis shows symmetrical speakers, lacks 3.5mm headphone jack
CoboRodRegas said:Disappointing if true, The headphone jack is one of the most important features to me.... Way more important than the camera... I use it hours every day in multiple locations, connected to different devices (car stereo, large quality headphones I keep at work, small ear buds I use for working out, and multiple home stereos depending on what room I am in).
No other audio interface will suffice, I am not willing to sacrifice the quality & convenience of a traditional headphone jack, I am not willing to spend hundreds of dollars to buy several dongles or spend hundreds of dollars to change my audio equipment, And I am not willing to carry a dongle with me at all times.
Its a simple, ubiquitous, quality, standard, with no peer. Its not like the floppy disk, its not like fire wire.
So if these rumors are, true my next phone will be an android.
