They are right. The vast majority of Galaxy users are people that associate more cores, more pixels with better phones. Those will keep buying Android devices, probably the great S7.

The others, that wanted S-pen specific features, will keep using older notes or other galaxy devices, too. They have no other choice.

Those that wanted the Note because it had the best screen and best camera won't obvious buy an iPhone as well.

For the users that feel that they lost trust in Samsung, some will go Android, some will go iOS.
    Did. Not. Read.

Only 36 posts. Not going to waste my time
But. Did. Reply. And. Wasted. Time.

  • Apple CEO Tim Cook says globalization is 'great for the world' in China speech

Our children's education will sink even further down the ladder of in comparison to other wester nations.
Be very, VERY, VERY careful now. Otherwise I’ll have to respond to this with facts that will hurt your feelings.

  • Apple making sparse use of Swift in its own apps, engineer claims

If you're leading the most powerful business in the world... you don't wanna take too many big risks.  That could be trouble.

But I must ask... who would be a "better" CEO?  You know Steve Jobs chose Tim Cook as his successor, right?
I have no idea who they should hire. But I do know that Tim isn't a good fit.

The CEO of Apple needs to be respected and FEARED by Wall Street. He needs to be willing to take risks. He needs to be a massive equity owner, not just an employee. There is a reason why Apple has the worst PE ratio of any big tech company. The bottom line is Wall Street thinks Cook is a clown and give him zero respect. Apple's sub 10 PE is an absolute joke. Even shrinking companies like CocaCola, McDonalds, and Walmart have much higher PE ratio's.
    isn't Tim an Equity owner?
Isnt Tim showing "Jobs" like behaviour and not giving a toss about wall street and just running the biggest  and most profitable company in the world?
Isn't Apple making more money than they know what to do with it?
Isn't Apple launching products every year that sale like hot cakes?
Isn't Apple leading a cut throat sector and is considered to be the leader and closely followed by all the others?
Isnt Apple raking it by cornering the "premium sector" and having 90%+ of the profits in both mobile and "proper" PC's?

ok you've convinced me he's a bloody useless CEO. Maybe they should go private /s

  • Editorial: Why Apple ignores so much pundit innovation advice

Simple reason Apple ignores pundits is that they have a complete picture of what they are doing and where they are going. Pundits don't so make guesses where they think Apple should go.
In other words it's easy to look back with hindsight and point out all the errors.

  • New lawsuit claims Apple infringed on lead-free solder alloy patent in iPhones

    frac said:
“The patent, issued in 2001, applies to "solder alloys with improved physical and chemical properties that comprise effective amounts of tin, copper, silver, and bismuth."

Can an we say the word “broad” as in overly broad by including every possible combination covered by “effective”?

i seriously think Apple will fight this.
You'd need to actually read the patent and the claims made in it to see if it's broad or not and not just the title.

Try Baldurs gate (and Baldurs gate 2 while your at it)
They are faithful repros of the full game. Although it's better to play them on a tablet but you'll get so many great hours of play from them!

  • President-elect Trump says Apple CEO Tim Cook phoned him after victory

Then you have zero comprehension of what Trump said and no knowledge of Mattis’ history. Mattis is one of the best generals we’ve had since Patton. Who, incidentally, should have been allowed to rearm the Wehrmacht and march on Moscow in 1945 like he wanted. Can you even comprehend how much better the world would be if the Cold War had never happened and the Romanovs had been restored to the Russian throne?
THEY'RE DEEPLY CONCERNED THAT THEIR SOLDIERS COULD GET ACCUSED OF TORTURE.
Except if said actions are allowed…

dear gods you really are totally detached from reality. Patton should have marched on moscow :D :D :D :D now that would have ended in glorious bloody and humiliating defeat. The USSR had nearly 13 million men (and women) in their armed forces by 1945 and not forgetting the t34 and t34-85 tanks (about 12k) that out classed most if not all of the Allied tanks. On a conventional war it would have been a total slaughter (on both sides) that would have put WW1 to shame.

as for your "action were allowed" statement, the Nuremberg trials established "i was only following orders" is no defence.

It hasn't affected me, therefore, it isn't a problem. Perfect logic there.

    Also, please type properly.
To be fair that logic is used on here every single time there is a reported issue with an Apple product.
