I did set up shortcuts to start vacuuming specific rooms with my Roombas, but that's about all you can do. Unfortunately, that only works from the phone, not the HomePods scattered around the house. -

"That's the highest share the basic model has seen in five years, possibly pointing to a more cost-conscious wave of buyers."I think the later comment about the iPad being "good enough" for casual users is a big thing too.Personally, I jumped on the first 9.7" Pro when it was released. I was upgrading from an iPad 2, and found the price point acceptable and liked the upgrades it brought from the standard model. Fast forward to late 2024 and the 9.7" Pro was getting a bit long in the tooth. I debated between the 10th gen and an iPad Air, but ultimately chose the 10th gen. Based on how I use my iPad, I couldn't justify the price difference. Especially, since I bought it at Target during some ridiculous promotion. I absolutely would have spent the extra dollars had I perceived a real benefit for the way I use it. I also did tell myself, that based on the deal, I would be happy to pass it along to a family member if I did need to upgrade. To this point, I have not felt the need.
