I'm okay with it. Browse almost any website today and you're practically inundated with ads almost everywhere. Some sites are almost unusable due to all the ads and third party links.
I guess this sort of feeds itself, the more people use blockers the more they have to make off the users that don't, more ads go up, more people get blockers. -

What if this engineer was really the person behind the San Bernardino hack...Apple sets up a shell company, they are pretty good at that. FBI pays the shell company to hack the phone, Apple assigns the task to a single engineer. Media reports FBI paid company "xyz" to hack the phone, it blows over, no one knows Apple helped, consumers keep consuming. This poor guy can't live with his conscience.
