Just to clarify something, the new iPads are 1000x the ORIGINAL iPad. A 1000x improvement over the last generation would be incredible.

In contrast, you have Microsoft, less so today, which has many of their employees discussing development, feature set and strategy, often at odds with each other.

Forget Lithium, Lead is the new battery material of choice and Apple's Lead Battery Development Team is just the group to utilize this futuristic material.

I'm pretty sure they use multiple mics to enable phase detection (the difference in time a sound reaches one microphone vs the other) to determine foreground vs background. Siri in the car uses only one mic which is why it's much inferior.
