  • White House shot down Intel plans to increase chip production in China

    The chip shortage will continue under Biden administration. Companies will not manufacture chips in US. They cannot make money. If they try to raise prices they need to double or triple the prices. And this route is not working. Democrats have no concept of capitalism. 
    Bullshit! This crap started under the Reagan Administration. I live in Silicon Valley and personally saw Intel strip and close chip factories in the past to move the equipment over seas to increase profits to enrich executives bonuses through excessive profits through cheap labor and not regards for either domestic and foreign workers, the environment or national security concerns. 

    One would think that after the World’s Covid PPE shortages made worst by the hoarding, excessive profiteering and the arrogant Chinese Communist Party using its control of the manufacturing as a political weapon the world has learned the lesson of depending on a inherently corruption and authoritarian to deliver essential goods.

     The Biden administration is 1000 percent correct in trying to stop our “Capitalist from selling the ROPES to OUR and the ENTIRE WORLD HANGING!”

    With all due respect, I think only those who have access to classified government information should be the ones speaking on this subject.

    EVERYTHING in China is owned and controlled by the Chineses Communist Party not the Chinese People including TikTok!

  • Entire Apple Watch Series 6 package must be returned if Solo Loop, Braided Solo Loop don't...

    I posted this on 09/21/20 :

    I received my watch today and discovered the above mentioned sizing constraint. I took it to my local Apple Store who exchanged my oversized Braided Band (Size 11) for a gift card. I kept my Titanium Watch even though they did not have any Braided Band in stock for an exchange. 

    Prior to going to the store, I knew the store did have any Braided Bands in stock, so I purchased a Sports Band (Size 10). This size seemed to be the proper fit. I did noticed the band was slightly tight when I first put it upon my wrist. After a minute or less the fit was snug. The warmth from my wrist seem to loosen the fit. With this in mind, I would advised anyone who is in between sizes with the new Sport or Braided Apple Watch Bands to purchase the lower size. 

    Since that day, I have can personally attest to the fact that the Apple Watch Band template is not to scale. From my experience and from the experience of my significant other, the Solo Band should be bought at a size that is one size below the Apple’s cut-out template while the Braided Loop Band should be bought at a size that is one or two sizes below the template depending where your wrist lands on the scale (toward the front or middle or back). Both the Solo and Braided Bands are very comfortable and seemed to conform to the wrist without except one they are slipped on beyond the hand. As in any new product or tech, I have learned to expect a couple of hiccup without complaint  whenever I have been an early adopter!  I hope this helps others.

  • 13-inch iPad Pro review: hardware of the future running software of the past

    I know I will get clobbered here by saying this, but it must be said:

    This is NOTHING wrong with iPad OS or the new iPad Pro in my humble opinion including my nano-textured screen.

    I have only owned Apple computers starting with an Apple II GS. I currently own a MacBook Pro, an iPad Pro, a Vision Pro, an Apple TV, an iPhone Pro Max and a couple of Apple Watches. While each device is per se a computer and they may share some similar uses, they have different functions, uses, capabilities and software. 

    I have noticed Apple Tech Writers are always downgrading reviews and slamming iPads and iPad OS for not having the capabilities of Macs and Mac OS. As I have commented to others, although a pickup truck, a motor cycle and a van are all vehicles, they are all different and should be used according one’s transportation’s needs and the requirements of the transportation task.

    An iPad and IPad OS are not Mac and Mac OS. iPads and iPad OS need to be as simple as possible for those who need a computer without the complexities of multitasking and overloading the user. 

    If you want an example of this just visit an Apple Store and spend a few minutes just observing the interactions of the people in the store. While the parents are getting their Mac fix, grandma texting away on her phone and the baby in diapers and in the stroller is punching away or watching a Disney Movie for the hundredth time on an iPad. 

    Btw… The review was Great and I will not offer any criticisms of it with the exception of my above two cents.
