Someone says this every year and someone else discredits this statement every year.  Hardware has been announced SEVERAL times at WWDC.  Why do people keep saying this?

You're so right!  Apple Music and iTunes have been such major FAILURES!  <insert sarcasm here>

This makes me really happy as I've had nothing but issues with Apple Music on Monterey so far.  I'm hoping this clears things up.

Streaming services are moving completely backwards.  I think the idea of "Channels" was the right step so you could "subscribe" only to the content you wanted in a consistent interface.  People are refusing to give Apple control over there content afraid they might miss out on screwing hard-earned money out of people by making them pay for a bunch of content they'll never watch.  Honestly, I watch content on about 6 channels.  I would rather "subscribe" to those 6 channels and watch the content commercial free.

For anyone who has worked in corporate America, it's called "marketing".  Music artists say it all the time too - "This is my best album."  Best = open your wallets.
