  • Microsoft's 'bug chicks' praise Windows 10, diss Macs in new ad campaign

Yeah, when you can't beat your competitor fair and square, lie about them; tear them down.
    Just like a school-yard bully.

  • Apple to oppose 'Right to Repair' legislation in Nebraska, report says

I have and use Apple products.  I have bought-into the Apple Eco System.  I like the freedom and options of being able to shop for my repair center.  I believe in the owner's Right to Repair.  I am inclined to take my device back to Apple for a repair but I want it to be my choice.  I am displeased with Apple's position.  IMHO, Timmy's Apple is a far cry from Steve Jobs' Apple.  While neither iteration was perfect, Timmy's is lame.

  • US regulators ask smartphone makers to implement function-limited 'driver mode'

I guess you've never lived in Memphis.  Where you see weird, dangerous and illegal stuff and want to call the police, sheriff, ambulance, or fire department.  Where you can't stop and make a phone call in most of the city.  NOW, the USA Federal Government will stop phone users from helping when help is needed.  This not only sucks and is stupid but it is STUPID.

  • Google self-driving car bears 'some responsibility' in accident for first time ever

    Of course...
a private citizen's car runs into a Government vehicle and the Government official says that it is the citizen's fault.
    i call bullshit!

i have seen this in real life involving real people.  the citizen received a ticket by the officer who caused the accident.  the citizen protested and the duty officer arrived and issued the citizen another ticket.  the citizen protested and the highway patrol was called.  the highway patrol officer gave the officer the ticket and the judge suspended the officer's license for 6 months.  quite funny.  I guess google will have to program the ability to dispute a ticket with their cars.  If corporations are people, then cars are people too!
