Mastercard to add fingerprint sensors to cards, won't follow strict Apple Pay security pol...
I think that like many industries trying to keep the status quo, MasterCard is trying to keep people using physical cards longer. I find that physical cards are limiting as they take up physical space; and like the many other cards which you have to carry, like it or not, this becomes very tiresome. I stopped carrying physical cards for many things with the advent of Apple's digital wallet and ApplePay. I am sure that many people enjoy the ease of use of ApplePay and the freedom from their wallets which take up space in their pockets. Yep. I will enjoy just taking my phone with me on trips. A wallet is just a little annoying. -

Apple CEO Tim Cook says globalization is 'great for the world' in China speech
The problem seen with most legislation to make globally fair trade is that industry is trying to undermine the fairness towards countries and populations; the TPP has shown this already, with statements therein to usher in loopholes against government legislation beneficial for environment or populations...allowing companies to sue countries for lost profits due to legislation, thus forcing the hands of government to hobble these laws. Not acceptable. -

It would be nice to know exactly which apps they found that are compromised. People could then double check their devices and maybe remove them until these issues are corrected. -
Intel pushes USB-C as 3.5mm jack replacement, touts better sound, thinness & power management
eightzero said:I call bullshit on "better sound." It's digital. 1s and 0s going down that wire.
I don't think that you quite understand. The sound quality of the new jack will allow for the D/A processing to be onboard the headphones/speaker instead of the laptop (like the iPhone 7). This allows for higher quality recordings to be used by the Apple platforms (Lossless audio) which will allow for a really exceptional experience...which Apple has touted as its attitude about the products it makes...always working for the best experience for the customer.
