This is a brilliant idea. I think apple's profit margin is very high, the manufacturing cost of a $500 iphone is less than $200. When the tax is applied, apple will be forced to manufacture in US. I think the end result will be less profit for apple an somewhat increase in the price. I think even the price might go up a little, it will benefit the whole country by doing so.
